SCHOOL RULES

All selected students are expected to comply with the following school rules at all times throughout the duration of their scholarship year:

Students are required to wear full regulation Fukuoka Daiichi High School uniform correctly during all school events. All jewelry (except wristwatch), hair accessories (except black elastic bands) and cosmetics are not permitted. Artificially permed hair is also not allowed.

Students may not leave school grounds during school hours (including lunch time) without prior permission from appropriate staff member.

Students must arrive punctually to school and attend all school events unless excused by an appropriate staff member.

Students must complete all school assignments before their due date.

Students are expected to show high standard of courtesy and respect at all times especially for teachers, other students and visitors to the school.

Possession / consumption of alcohol, cigarettes, weapons and other hazardous materials are strictly prohibited.

Semi-sexual activities of any kind are prohibited.

Students must exercise care in respecting school property. Vandalism including graffiti is not tolerated. Threatening behavior and abusive language towards others is not tolerated. Fighting and violence is strictly forbidden.

Students may not engage in any form of employment.

Students may not take part in gambling and other forms of illicit behavior

Chewing gum is not permitted at all school events.

Students who do not abide by the above rules will be punished accordingly. Detention, additional assignment, withdrawal of privilege... etc are the usual forms of punishment. In more serious cases, parents will be contacted and students may be suspended or expelled. Fukuoka Daiichi High School does not endorse / practice physical punishment.
